Custom Randall Triathlete w/ Ivory
This offering is a Randall Triathlete with Elephant Ivory custom handle scales installed by master craftsman Don Hedrick. The Randall Triathlete is a non-cataloged, no frills skeleton knife. However, this "Custom Tri" features brass and copper mosaic pins and beautiful, pre-ban Elephant Ivory from David Warther. I've scrimshawed an American Kestrel on this little Randall. The American Kestrel is a strikingly colored raptor and the smallest falcon in North America. As such it seemed to be the perfect subject for this compact custom Randall. The standard clip-on sheath comes with the knife but of course the custom handle will no longer fit in the sheath.
