Randall-Bowles Skinner #316 w/Dragon's Blood Amboyna Burl
This guarded design dealer special features a 4-1/2 inch stainless steel blade forged from 1/4 inch stock. The reverse trademark side of the blade is etched Bowles Skinner #316. The Bowles Skinner is the only Randall forged from 1/4 inch stock that carries the small Randall trademark stamp. The single nickel silver hilt is accentuated by the metal and black spacers. The handle material is a highly figured piece of exotic Dragon's Blood. This ultra red Amboyna Burl is a rare, exotic hardwood that grows in Southeast Asia and has a fragrant aroma. Often it is finely sliced to produce an extremely decorative veneer used in the interiors of fine automobiles such as Bentley and Rolls Royce. The handle is crafted in a teardrop shape and finished with a Randall Duralumin® butt cap. The front of the unique two-tone Sullivan's sheath carries my Randall Made-Rick Bowles Special stamp on the toe and I've signed and dated the back.
